    Bali Trip! (Part 1)

I've just received a very nice graduation presents from Mama, Abah and Ikas. Hehe. Well, I went to Bali for a week (7th July 2009-12th July 2009) with my friends. It was quite fun and very entertaining and yet very tiring.

So here's some recap of what I did in Bali. (and this might be the longest post ever!) Hehe.

    Day 1 : 7th July 2009 (Tuesday)

Arrived in Nguhrai Rai, Denpasar Airport around 1pm. Straight away to Aneka Kuta Beach Hotel for Check-In. Had my lunch in my room while waiting for others. We start our day 1 trip at 4pm. The initial plan is to watch Sunset in Jimbaran but we started our journey quite late so we ended up watching sunset while we're on the way to Jimbaran. Haha.

While on the way to Jimbaran for Dinner, we went to Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park. This is a place where they have statues of Wisnu and the statues of Garuda will be placed. If I'm not mistaken it will be the biggest statue in Asia soon. You can read more about it here. Click Click!

    The statue of Garuda

    The statue of Wisnu

    Tada~

Then, we went to The Monkey Forest Sanctuary located in Ubud. There were monkeys everywhere! So we all need to put out all of our jeweleries, sunglasses, and our camera coz they said that the monkey will grab our things and ran away. Haha. Okay not much picture were taken this time.

Monyet kat belakang je, cuak gak time ni hehe!

After monkey-watching, we thought of watching the Kecak Dance located at the same place, but suddenly the rain pours heavily. So, we headed to our next destinations!

We have no luck to watch the sunset on our first day. But we had a really nice meals in Jimbaran for dinner. It was Athirah's birthday, so we kinda celebrated it with seafood and no cakes! She turned 8 on our first day! :) Weee~

    Happy birthday, Tira!

    Day 2 : 8th July 2009 (Wednesday)

We start our day 2 at 9pm to The Centre of Art and Traditional Market of Bali. It's located in Ubud. The price was quite reasonable but we decided not to buy any of them. LOL. We then headed to Kintamani. We saw lots of Paddy Field on our way there. Very nice view! :)

It was my second time to Kintamani- The Volcano, so I'm not so keen to take pictures because I know it will be a very annoying moment for me to handle plenty of them selling things that I don't need or even want! So I headed to the restaurant straight away. Haha. We had our lunch buffet there for Rp 60,000 per pax. I lost my appetite eventhough they claimed they cater "Halal Food" and keep mentioning there were Mushola (Surau) at their restaurant. Having a Mushola doesn't mean the food will be 100% Halal, right? Ok, whatever. Since I'm hungry, I ate white rice with some fried fish.

After Kintamni, we headed down to Gianyar - Sukawati Art Market. This is the place where you can buy cheap cheap cheap stuff especially sourvenirs and artsy-fartsy stuff. Haha. But again, PLEASE BARGAIN. ;) You can't find any cheaper price than here in other places. So please buy whatever you want here rather than in Kuta Area or elsewhere. Or else, you will regret it later.

Then we stop at Celuk- Silver & Gold Smith. It was local-made with a 100% best quality and we need to again, BARGAIN for a better price! Ikas bought me earings, a ring, a necklace and a pendant and a ring for himself. It costs us Rp 1,000 000 for my sets (ring, and Rp400,000 for his ring.

My ring got bling bling. LOL.

Satisfied? Ya, so we went to see the Kecak Dance nearby cos we had quite plenty of time. But the kids are not following. Some people said Kecak Dance was a bit scary. But I finally watched them with Rp80,000. Quite expensive cos it's quite a private place. :(

There were no musical instrument used. It was like a choir by chanting "Ke-chak" with rythm and that makes the Kecak Dance special and of course the fire play. It was kinda creepy to watch the guy playing with the fire. It was said that there were spirits inside that guy. So I guess thats the scary part of Kecak Dance. Huhu.

After Kecak Dance, we're tired and decided to had our dinner at Wang Solo. (Sorry, no pictures cos we're TOO hungry, haha!) They had their branch in KL and I had ate them plenty of times before. It was the only HALAL restaurant that I had no guilt about. The waitress are all muslims, they had a very nice and big mushola and of course there were signboards saying "Halalan Thayyiban". Wang Solo had few branches also in Bali. The price are VERY VERY reasonable. Quite cheap. Rp 50,000 is more than enough per person. I guess I will provide their address here for all the mulims incase they're finding informations here. Haha! Highly recommended Halal Restaurant:

    Ayam Bakar Wong Solo
    Merdeka St.
    No. 18
    Dangin Puri Village,
    East Denpasar District

    Denpasar City, 80232

p/s: I will continue my post later! Tungguuu Haha

    Jom Random PMS

Alhamdulillah, I'm currently happy with my life. After beeing cheated, betrayed, dumped, and all those negative2 thingy, Allah is Great. But as usual the PMS came. But this time, I just get annoyed easily with people. Tahla, I can see lots of annoying faces in my mind. This is just random-PMS ok.

PMS 1: I get annoyed with certain people yang mcm nak tunjuk bagus but actually they're not. Ok, maybe dorang mmg bagus. But kalau down-to-earth sket kan lagi afdal? Haha. I don't know why should they brag about so many things. Good at this, good at that. Or maybe optimistic sangat kot?

PMS 2: Tetiba teringat kat ex yang tak patut diigati smpai mati. Haha. Sucks ok? Bole termimpi plak tu. Nightmaressssssssssss!!

PMS 3: Guilty of eating too much. Ala nii tak random, tapi rationale kan?

PMS 4: Jealous ngan certain people yang dah berjaya at my age! Ada yg dah settle down, ada yang dah berubah, ada yang bisnes letup2, ada yang dah ada STABLE job. Takpe la rezeki masing2. I hope my days will come soon, InsyaAllah.

PMS 5: PMS buat susah nak ganti puasa. Adui, byk dugaan gak eh? Mintak2 dapat la ganti as soon as after mensus nnti.

PMS 6: Tak dpt tengok Transfomers lagi! Tapi dah byk dengar spoiler! Annoying gak kadang2. Hahaha!

PMS 7: Talam dua muka. Cakap mcm ni, Tapi buat mcm tu. Uols ni confused ke?

Ok la sekian. Hehe semua ni random. Maaf zahir batin if ada terkene mengena ngan life korang k? Sekadar luahan. ;)

    Visit Terengganu

Flight delayed for 4 hours! *sigh*

Just got back from Terengganu yesteday. Ate alot of Terengganu main dish. But this time around I didn't manage to eat the very tempting Keropok Lekor. Hehe. Oh ya, I didn't know that Pulau Redang is 45minutes away from Kuala Terengganu? and Pulau Kapas, if im not mistaken is like 30minutes away? Ok, I think I might spend some of my times at Pulau2 berdekatan whenever I visit Terengganu again!

We visited Bukit Puteri just opposite the famous Pasar Payang. This Bukit had an entrance fee of RM 1 per person. Haha! Bukit Puteri it is a Kubu Pertahanan. (I can't remember which Sultan, haha). Nice view ;)

    Me with Baby Meriam.

Have you ever heard of this Stadium? Stadium Sultan Mizan di Gong Badak Kuala Terengganu just collapsed recently (2nd of June 2009). It was build just few years ago for SUKMA, tapi dah collapsed. Heard alot of versions of why exactly the Stadium is collapsed. Scary jugak.

    ---
This week will be very hectic as well as Afif will sambung his studies in Universiti Malaysia Sabah and his campus will be located in Labuan. Quite intresting, isn't it? I remember I used to have alot of friends in Labuan during MirC era. We loved to exchanging kata-kata semangat via mails!

I heard that Labuan had beautiful beaches, I really hope I could spend my holidays with my friends at the beach! Island-hopping sounds good, too! Jom!

    ----
I still haven't got any chance to apply any jobs. Too busy with other things. And I just got my CPU! Hopefully I can turn it on later. Need to update my resume, portfolios and need to create an online portfolio! OMG, too many things to settle before Bali! Dolphins! Yay! ;)

Tomorrow will be the MOST hectic-est day ever! Hopefully my kesabaran is higher tomorrow! Hahaha!
